A family paper to save?
A letter, a diploma, a map, a drawing, a poster, a childhood book. These objects are often priceless, and fragile. I treat them to the same standards as for a museum.

What I see most often
- Yellowed tape staining the sheet
- Tears and missing pieces
- Rust-coloured spots (foxing) and yellowed paper
- Traces of damp or mould
- A book whose binding is coming apart
- A folded, creased, brittle document
How it works
- You send me a few photos from your phone.
- I reply with a first estimate, free.
- You bring the object to the studio in Brussels.
- I treat it once you agree, with photos.
- You collect it, with advice to keep it safe.
What about the price?
It depends on the object and on what needs doing: a clean is nothing like repairing a whole book. I do not quote without seeing the object, but a few photos are enough for an estimate, free and with no commitment. Sometimes good housing is enough, and costs little.
